Stephen Scheller

Truro Stephen Scheller has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years. He has prosecuted capital cases and tried dozens of major felony jury trials. While in private practice, he represented individuals on a variety of cases including workman’s compensation, personal injury, and civil disputes. Mr. Scheller has taught hundreds of state and federal law enforcement officers across the state on numerous legal issues including criminal law and evidence, procedural issues, and police liability. He has been an adjunct faculty professor for over ten years teaching college students on a variety of legal topics. He has lectured and taught numerous civic groups and attorneys on legal and liability issues. Mr. Scheller has received numerous awards throughout his career from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and civic groups. Mr. Scheller is a contributor and legal advisor for CourtSmart and the legal source books. He concentrates his legal analysis on constitutional law issues involving law enforcement.
